2011 Anderson Germany Lamborghini Gallardo White Edition - Front Angle Top View

Anderson Germany Lamborghini Gallardo White Edition Performance kit takes the horsepower from 560 to 600 hp. This is done with series of modifications that include the use of software optimization and the addition of a modified air filter and a sport exhaust system with additional Rennkats. The tuning package includes a remote-controlled valve adjusting system that lets driver opt from three different levels of noise and also reduces approximately 22 kg in weight. A special sport suspension module combined with a precise undercarriage significantly changes the driving dynamics. Three-piece, shiny black rims – each with a white painted deep dish – in dimensions of 9×20 inch with 245/30-20 tires in front and 12.5 x 20 inch with 325/25-20 rear provide adequate adherence with the asphalt surface.

And window and tail light tinting should be mentioned also. The look is completed by LED lights on the sides of the vehicle and contrasting red-painted calipers.

The Lamborghini Gallardo White Edition interior features exclusive white carbon details. There are the vents, the hand brake lever, the shift paddles, the dashboard, the steering wheel, door handle inlays, the shift lever and the border of the internal light in the roof lining.
The seats of the White Racing Edition are finished in black Alcantara and black and white leather; the edges of seats are entirely in white; doors and seats have diamond-shaped stitching.

A spec sheet purporting to come from Lamborghini is doing the rounds online - spilling the technical secrets of the new Lambo V12 supercar, the LP700-4 or Aventador.

We're using the designation from the spec sheet, which makes sense in Lambo's current nomenclature: LP for longitudinale posteriore, or longitudinal mid-engined, 700ps and four-wheel drive.

But we hear that Aventador is tipped as the brand name; it's reportedly been registered in the US, although Sant'Agata has numerous names lodged, including the likes of Jota.

CAR UK understands this is the new 2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.

Lambo Aventador LP700-4 spec

Key details revealed in this email, which we believe to be accurate:

• 60deg V12, 6498cc
• 690bhp

chassis at the 1965 Turin Motor Show. Requests to provide a body the car came from many Italian coachbuilders, but Lamborghini chose Bertone. The prototype P400 Miura appeared less than a year later at the 1966 Geneva show. It is painted in an orange-red color with a black interior. The rear window was made of Plexiglas and was void of the louvers found on the production cars.

The Lamborghini LM002

was built from 1986 through 1993 with 301 units being produced. Lamborghini is known and respected for their exotic vehicles that are as stylish as they are fast. The SUV codenamed 'Cheetah' was a project that began in 1977 and designed to be sold to the United States Military. A Chrysler V8 engine was used in the prototype 'Cheetah' but the production versions were outfitted with a V-12, courtesy of the Lamborghini Countach. The original Cheetah prototype was destroyed by the US military during testing. The Cheetah project was short lived. Production on the LM001 began in 1981. This was the second attempt at creating a four-wheel drive, rear-mounted engine, all-terrain vehicle. The LM001 was powered by a twelve-cylinder powerplant and first displayed to the public at the 1981 Geneva Auto Show. The LM002, also known as the LMA, was introduced a year later featuring the engine in the front. Production finally began in 1986, albeit with many changes.

Lamborghini showed the world its latest Gallardo at the LA show - now take a deep breath - Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. And you thought Japanese brands loved a multi-faceted verbose car name.

So what exactly is this new ?

In simple terms the Performante is the Spyder version of the Superleggara. It's been on the same religiously slim-fast diet, adopting lots of carbonfibre (inside and out), swapping the standard car's leather for lightweight Alcantara, and receiving lightweight wheels.

It's enough to add up to a not-too-shoddy weight saving of 65kg.

Other than being a Spyder, any other differences over the Superleggara?

Yes, but they're by and large cosmetic. Performante script is stamped on the carbonfibre skirts, two black stripes now extend from the bonnet to over the engine cover, and are coupled with three Reventon-esque tri-colour 'Y' graphics.

Performance remains on a par with the Superleggara: top speed stands at 323kph (where speed limits allow) and 0-100kph takes 4.0 seconds.

If you need to ask the price...

As is often the case with supercars, saved weight does not equate to saved cost. The price for joining the Performante owners' club is expected to stand at a not-so-light $260,000.

First deliveries are slated for spring 2011.
