Tata Motors launches a new offering in the Winger range- the Tata Winger Platinum. The all new Tata Winger is a 7-seater designed for an improved on-road experience. The Winger Platinum is the perfect confluence of style and panache.  The older version of Tata Winger was mainly known for its commercial purpose and is now upgraded to a large family vehicle.

The new Tata Winger Platinum supports 3 rows of seat instead of 4, and all the seats have headrests and armrests. These captain seats are a real comfort for longer journeys.
Ravi Pisharody, Tata Motors President, Commercial Business Vehicle Unit, said, “We have no immediate plans to raise prices. We are trying to maintain margins and we have options of cost reduction.”  He added, “There is indeed an upward pressure on input costs. We have continuous internal targets for cost reduction across the board. The rising commodity prices have put more pressure on cost reduction”.

The new offering from Tata Winger is an ideal choice for passengers on the look out for carriers and those that depend on utility vehicles.  The Tata Winger is by far a better choice as it offers comfort as well as the efficacy of a utility vehicle. Ultimately this is the large MPV from Tata Motors and is showcased as the entry level MPV, on the lines of Mahindra Xylo and the Toyota Innova. The Tata Winger Platinum BS-IV is powered by a 2-litre turbo charged inter-cooled diesel engine and is available in Pearl White and Cycus Grey. Priced at Rs.7.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai, without Octroi), the Tata Winger is all set to make heads turn as it zooms past the Indian roads.
