We all know the Apache RTR 160 however have you heard of the Apache Velocity 160. Here are some images of the Apache Velocity 160 which was showcased at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show. The Apache Velocity 160 is all about a Street Fighter look. TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TVSMCI) are the people behind this new street fighter design. Did they do justice to a street fighter design ? Lets see what has been thrown into this street fighter design !
Firstly its the headlamp stands out to give it a street fighter characteristics. TVS managed this by adopting the TVS Neox3i headlamp. In addition upside down Mito front suspension, Bridgestone Battlax 120/70-17 front tire – 150/60-17 rear tire. Tvs has also given close detail by giving the Velocity a custom swing arm, rear monoshock suspension, seat, exhaust re-designed and styled to give the velocity a viscous streetfighter character.
Benny Yuniardi Widiatmoko, GM TVSMCI Marketing Group commented on the Apache Velocity 160 ”This is a streetfighter concept of TVS Indonesia to see the market reaction on the design of this bike,” He also added “Besides, we also want to see if market sentiment TVS motor sport brings style streetfighter who is currently a trend, So if the concept is TVS Apache Velocity 160 will follow in the footsteps Japanese manufacturers such as Yamaha and Honda? Let’s wait on the game.”

As we already reported earlier, TVS will finally launch the Apache ABS by the end of this January 2011. TVS Apache RTR ABS will be costlier around Rs 3000 compared to the current one. The Apache RTR 180 with ABS was showcased at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo.
