Volkswagen India recently launched the all-new Passat featuring the advance new BlueMotion Technologies. The new car will be available to the Indian customers in diesel variant in both automatic and manual transmissions options. A host of new features have been added to the 2011 Passat to make it totally irresistible. The Passat is available in Highline and Comfortline variants, which will later be joined by Trendline.

The 2011 Volkswagen Passat is powered by a 2.0L CR TDI engine which is characterized by fuel efficiency, significantly low emissions and high pulling power. The engine’s maximum power of 167.6 bhp and torque of 350 NM @ 1750-2500 makes it extremely powerful.
The diesel engine Passat is available in a choice of 6-speed manual as well as 6-speed fully automatic DSG Dual Clutch gearbox. The DSG Dual Clutch Gearbox brings together the goodness of an automatic transmission with the efficiency and performance of a manual gearbox.
