The Ford Fiesta, a compact luxury sedan is manufactured indigenously in India. Designed by the Ford Motor Company in Europe, it is also available in Mexico, China, Brazil, South Africa and Japan. This sedan is more spacious than others in its segment; its interior design makes maximum use of the additional width of the Fiesta's body structure, providing ample seating for five adults.
Its styling might not be as sporty or racy as the Ikon in the looks department, but it has its own intrinsic appeal and would probably find its niche among a more mature segment of car buyers. A car that sensitively and intuitively gets your measure, it handles like dynamite on the road. Reassuring and comfortable, the Fiesta exudes class and style.
This Ford has more than just speed and power; beyond its impressive exterior is a wealth of technology and innovation. Designed specifically to meet the demands of the challenging Indian tarmac, the Fiesta's hugely responsive engineering and wizardry reins in the car at curves, and softens it up by adapting to the road and driving conditions.
The Fiesta is available in seven variants; the Fiesta Duratec 1.4 TDCi EXI, 1.6 Duratec EXI, 1.6 Duratec ZXI, 1.4 TDCi ZXI, 1.6 Duratec SXI, 1.4 TDCi SXI and 1.6 S. 1.6 Duratec ZXI with Leather comes optional and SXI also comes with Limited Edition variants.
The Fiesta Duratec 1.4 EXI is equipped with a 1.4L In-line 4, 81bhp engine that dishes out 127 nm of torque. The Fiesta Duratec 1.6 SXI, Fiesta Duratec 1.6 ZXI and 1.6 S sport a 1.6L In-line 4,100 bhp engine that gives up 146 nm of torque and the Fiesta 1.4 TDCi ZXI is geared up with 1.4L, 67 bhp engine that forks out 160 nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across all trims.
This Ford's drive quality is smooth and flawless. No surprises here. The V8 serves up an awe-inspiring gush of power as one antes up on speed, and runs through the seamless shifts effortlessly. Powerful, no-drama-anti-lock brakes work with predictable precision. Acceleration is satisfactory. Ride quality is comfortable. Steering is crisp and efficient. The Fiesta soaks up bumps efficiently and is a breeze to drive, thanks to its especially tuned suspension features.

The fascia has a strong substantial look. Hood and fenders flow gently, giving it a refined look, while creating a better sight line of the edge of the car for easier parking. Front fenders are designed to merge into twin headlamps with integrated turn-signal lamps. The limited edition version of the car has map reading and rear reading lamps. The rear fascia is fitted with fog lamps in the lower bumper, which gives it a sporty appeal. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with a 7-spoke design and special locking nuts. There is an option to adjust the height of the driver's seat in the limited edition of the car.
The Fiesta has a crisp, aerodynamically defined body with a nice, linear silhouette. It has a host of exterior features that add to it visual aesthetics, some of which include twin jewel effect headlamps, integrated turn signal lamps in headlamps, chrome bezel on fog lamps, a radiator grille surround, outside rear view mirrors, body side moulding, a bumper rub-strip, a license plate garnish/deck lid handle and a B-pillar black-out. The limited edition fiesta has aluminium finish door release levers and aluminium cuff plates on steering
The cabin is extremely practical and functional with just the right blend of comfort and convenience. It features potent luxury with tangible comforts and is made from sturdy materials with meticulous attention to detail.
