As we already reported several instance that Maruti Suzuki will launch the Diesel SX4 in India by next month, i.e., Feb-2011.
Maruti Suzuki is currently facing the heat after many rivals came out with diesel options as Maruti Suzuki doesn’t have an option other than petrol version on SX4.
Maruti Suzuki is also launching the Kizashi model in India on 2nd Feb 2011 and this will also make the diesel heads turn from rivals to enter the Maruti Suzuki showroom.
SX4 Diesel will carry a 1.3-litre DDiS VGT (variable geometry turbocharger) engine that will generate 90 bhp that is already doing the same job under Linea’s hood.
Maruti’s SX4 Diesel is believed to be priced around Rs 8.75 lakhs.
