GM India was planning to launch the Beat Diesel in early 2011, but that does seem not to happen any time soon. The company is aiming to launch the Beat LPG version in next couple of weeks in India where the internal training has already been initiated.
Chevrolet Beat was supposed to get the 3-Cylilnder 1.0-L Multijet Diesel engine from Fiat and the 3-cylinder engine is currently been created at its GM’s powertrain facility in Bangalore.
GM India has missed the Beat Diesel and it will create some good numbers in sales that has a attractive exterior and interior design which meets the style.
Let’s see what happens to Beat Diesel whether it will be launched By Mid-2011 or before End of 2011, time should answer this.
