Mercedes-Benz presented the CLS 63 AMG at the recently held LA Auto Auto Show 2010. It is said that the new CLS 63 AMG is the most powerful variant of the CLS. It is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo charged engine which churns out 386 kilowatts. Now you must be thinking with all this power making the fuel economy is surely to suffer however Mercedes has thrown in some latest technology which enables the CLS 63 AMG to consume only9.9 litres per 100 kilometers.
Mercedes-Benz had another surprising announcement as well. Italian Motorcycle manufacturer Ducati and AMG have tied-up and from now on both brands will work together. They aim to open up their brands to new customers. We hope the AMG / Ducati cooperation will make its way to India along with the CLS 63 AMG soon. Why wouldn’t they want to tap the ever growing thirsty Indian Bike and Car Mart ? Stay Tuned.
