Maruti Suzuki has showcased the R3 MPV during the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo, the company is in full swing to complete R3 with several prototypes to finalise the car for the production slated by the end of 2011 or early 2012.
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the car at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo and it is also expected to show the R3 model at the 2012 Auto Expo.
Maruti Suzuki R3 should get the 1.2-litre K Series Petrol and 1.3-litre Multi0jet turbo-diesel engine and along with the LPG and CNG to be added later. The company will also export this model to Australia with stringent crash test and Euro V emission tests.
The company focusing that R3 might be one of the high-volume export projects to hit the Australia shores.
Maruti Suzuki R3 Export version will be featured with 1.6-liter turbodiesel engine from VW’s inventory. It will also feature Flat fold seats, detachable captain seats, high strength steel, ESP and airbags.
